Edible Extendible Ears - Honeydukes-Candies

Part of a HP-themed holiday goody basket that I mailed out to friends..

I'm so proud of these! These are the Weasley twin's newest product on the market; Edible Extendible Ears. (Note the box's disclaimer: Our Edible Extendible Ears do not offer any auditory enhancement. Please purchase our Original Extendible Ears for all your eavesdropping needs!")

I hand-sculpted the original ear from Sculpey clay, baked it, then created the silicone-rubber mould needed to create the edible replicas. The Ears themselves are white chocolate (tinted orange), flavored with orange oil. The string that runs between them is red licorice rope.

The box lables I made have a holographic border, giving them that flashy, "magical" look that seems to be everywhere in the Weasley's shop.
